He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Hanson and Genevieve Hanson (Webster); and his wife Judy Hanson. He is survived by: his children, Chris Hanson (Jill) of Olivia, MN, Jay Hanson, Norseland, Lena Burckhardt (Tate) of Lake Benton, MN and Grace Hanson (Mike Mechtenberg) of St. Paul, MN.; and his grandchildren, Jack Hanson (Madie), Olivia Hanson, Will Hanson, Hans Burckhardt, Janna Burckhardt, Selby Mechtenberg and Hewitt Mechtenberg.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scandian Grove Lutheran Church (42869 Co Rd 52, St Peter, MN 56082). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed towards Scandian Grove Lutheran Church memorial fund or the Nicollet County Fair.
