He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Sharon; his wife Judy; his children, Jon (Tracy) and Kris; his stepchildren, Heather (Mark) and Trip; and his grandchildren, Sally, Will, Jake, Sara, Natalie, Raymond, Stuart, Quad, Kannon, Holly, Kiera, John Chaffee, Doris Park, Judith Ojard, Barbara Chaffee and Marilyn Zornado.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in honor of Forrest can be made to Gustavus Adolphus College or First Lutheran Church, St. Peter.
