He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Braun and Muriel Braun (Christian). He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Barry Braun (Wendy) of Salem, JoAnn Reichow (Mark) of Chaska and Angela Miller of St. Peter; his grandchildren, Tyler Braun (Rose), Karissa Wells (Sam), Hannah Sutter (Trevor), Trevor Braun (Devin), Jacob Reichow (Sarah Martinez), Aaron Reichow (Ashley Leindecker), Magdalene Miller (Neil), Alison Duenow and Grace Serna (Carter); and his siblings, Nancy Braun and Allen Braun (Becky). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
