She was predeceased by: her parents, William Volk and Clara Volk (Hickel); her husbands, Wilbert Brandt and Carl Tietz; her son Kevin; her great grandchild Brittany; her stepdaughter Sandra Blekestad; her sons-in-law, Leo Ternes and Gordy Hale; and her brothers, Lawrence, Gerald, Dwayne and Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Hale, Ernie Brandt (Bonnie), Sharon Ternes, Nancy Mealman (Ron), Patty Brandt, Dale Brandt and Gail Brandt Otero (Gary); her brothers, Robert (Carol) and Merle (Jane); and her pet Molly.
