Azad Mesrobian Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 79, Azad Mesrobian of Saint Peter, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harotoun Mesrobian and Mary Mesrobian; his brothers, Sam and Ara Mesrobian; his in-laws, Gerald and Selma Lawton; and his friend Zaven Khanjian.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Lawton of St. Peter, Minnesota; his daughters, Kristin Mesrobian (Jeff Johnson) and Carrie Mesrobian (Adrian Durand) of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; his sister Lucine Ishkanian (Krikor) of Chicago; his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Mesrobian of St. Paul, Arpie Mesrobian of Toronto, Roxanne Gilbert (Cal) of Loxley, Alabama and Ralph David Lawton (Annette) of St. Paul, Minnesota; his nieces and nephews, George, Jack Ishkanian (Argelia) of Chicago, Scott Mesrobian of Champlin, Allen Mesrobian of Toronto, Sheree Mazzarese (Dave), Rosie Popywycz (George) of Toronto, Kaia Lawton and Justine Grandel (Jonny) of St. Paul, Minnesota; his great-nieces, Johanna, Jacqueline Ishkanian of Chicago, Paige Mazzarese of Phoenix and Sarah Mazzarese of Stillwater, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Sidian, Owen Johnson of Minneapolis and Matilda Durand-Mesrobian of Columbia Heights, Minnesota; and his great grandchild Anahit Apinyan (Khazhak Ghazaryan) of Dilijan, Armenia. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
