He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schanks and Esther Schanks (McEvoy); and his brother Mike Schanks. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Theresa Baralatei (Joe), Kat Balsimo (Joe) and William Schanks (Sharon); his grandchildren, Sarah, Christian, Noelle, Joe, Sam, Kharmia and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Haylee, Lily and Vita. He is also survived by many relatives & friends.
