He was predeceased by: his mother Chai Nguyen; and his brother Tai Anh Nguyen. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Trinh (Lien); his daughters, Anh Kim Trinh Nguyen and Jessica Trinh; his father Ban Nguyen; and his siblings, Tuan Anh Nguyen, Ton Anh Nguyen, Thien Anh Nguyen, Nhung Nguyen and Tuyet Nguyen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
