He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Alice; and his siblings, Alan and Julie Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Sandra), Gregory and Melissa Thurber (Marty); and his sister Kathleen Scherer. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
