He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemary Rita Gerner (Driscoll) and Robert Lawrence Gerner; and his sister Leianne Gerner. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hoff; his children, Lindsay Gerner and Cory Gerner; his stepdaughter Jasmine Vilaysone; and his sister Chris Keane (Paul).
