He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Murphy and Harriet Murphy; and his brother Michael Murphy. He is survived by: his brothers, Tom Murphy (Lynn) and Kevin Murphy (Xiaoyuan); his sister-in-law Linda Murphy; his nieces and nephews, Kai Dong (Abby), Joe Murphy, Michael Murphy (Amy) and Ruth Fasulo (Joey); and his close friends, Tammy and Neil.
