It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Casalenda Jr. of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Casalenda Sr. and Helen Casalenda; his siblings, Walter (Blackie), Violet Huber and Laurie Kane; and his son-in-law Dean Musch.
He is survived by: his significant other Margaret; his children, Deb Musch, Rick "Sammy" Casalenda (Cindy), Karen Casalenda, Ron Casalenda (Deb) and Steve Casalenda (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Lori, Jeff Musch, Corbin Casalenda, Justin Steffans (Kathleen), Ashley Schoening (Chris), Sam Casalenda (Becky), Gina Casalenda and Anna Casalenda; his great grandchildren, Leonardo "Leo", Giovanna "Gi Gi" Casalenda, Kelsey, Braden and Jackson Steffans; his great great grandchild Cain Steffans; and his siblings, Michael "Mick", Joe, Dick and Gloria Azzone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family to be distributed to their charity of choice.
