He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "M. A.". He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Ann Kaehler (Bill) and Laurie Ann Metz; his grandchildren, Taylor, Andrew and Jordan; and his sisters, Carol Lee, Janet Hirsch and Diane Schell. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
