He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Pinochi); and his children, Mary Garlough (Al), Jan Christiansen (Eric), Paul Drewing (Jean), Jim Drewing (Lisa) and Louanne Murphy (Tim). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice Center, 2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN 55104.
