He was predeceased by: his parents, Marit and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Andrea; his children, Niklas and Annika; and his siblings, Beth Bessessen (John), Mark (Mary), Bruce (Trish) and Todd (Aldene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
