He was predeceased by: his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Dāna; his children, Gregory (Suzy) of Maplewood, Andrew (Lan) of Roseville and Liza (Michael) of Duluth; and his grandchildren, Teien Rose, Abigail, Amelia, Clifford and Fletcher. He is also survived by five brothers and a sister.
