He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nyberg and Avis Nyberg. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his son Peter; his sister Carol Carver; his sister-in-law Ann Rehbein (Michael Perry); and his nieces, Olivia Engel, Katie Rehbein and Montana. He is also survived by several aunts, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Walker West Music Academy in St. Paul, the Audubon Society, or Second Harvest Heartland.
