He was predeceased by: his parents, John Altman and Dorothy Ahern Altman of St. Paul. He is survived by: his wife Marietta; his daughters, Mary Lynn, Dawn, Beth (Jay) and Laurie (Gregg); his sister Kathleen Paulino; and his grandchildren, Steven (Elizabeth), Erika (Rick), Belinda, Andrew, Cassie (Tom), Tucker, Gabe (Amanda), Joseph, Jack (Franki) and Mitch.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Joseph (1154 Seminole Ave, St Paul, MN 55118). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to St. Joesph's Church or Salvation Army.
