He is survived by: his wife Christine (Lamers); his children, Michael (Julie), Thomas, Eileen, Richard (Jennifer), Robert (Carol) and David (Judy); his grandchildren, Kelly (Patrick), Andrew (Maria), Aidan, Katherine, Kieran, Brian (Nicole), Megan, Colleen, John, Eric, Zachary, Kyle and Leo; his great grandchildren, Ella, Caleb, Addison, Nora, Carter and Jimena; his sister Mary Nakasone (Edwin); and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Schwartzbauer, Zeno Lamers, Alfons Wieshuber, Ella Lamers, Camilla Schober and Imelda Muggli (William).
