He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Annie; and his brothers, Robert, Kenneth and Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Lois; his children, Cindy Ricard (John) and Steve Haglund; his grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, Riley, Logan, Sydney and Carter; and his brother James.
