He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Allard, Sr. and Nona Doyle Allard; and his sisters, Katherine F. Allard and Nona Mary Allard O. P.. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; and his children, Aileen Allard Gould (Rob), James R. Allard (Geraldine Zipser) and Dr. R. David Allard (Ann Marie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Thomas Academy, Mendota Heights, MN or Alzheimer's Disease Research, a BrightFocus Foundation Program, Clarksburg, MD.
