She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thul and Mary Frye Thul; her children, Christopher Colby (Mary) and Gayle; and her siblings, Edward, Yvonne DeLaForest, Margaret Dickens, Donna Brosig and Valerie Collison.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Slaughter (Connie), Leigh Colby (Judy), Ray Colby (Melanie Rose), Paula Jelinek (Mark) and Brigh Haas; and her brother-in-law Jim Collison. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
