She was loved and cherished by many people including: her fathers, George Ellen Doak Epps and George Allen Epps, Sr.; her daughter Kimberly Ann Harwell; her husband Lawrence E. Hart, Sr.; her children, Denise A. Moton and Lawrence E. Hart, Jr. (Camille); her siblings, George A. Epps, Jr., Ronald L. Epps (Joyce) and Eileen Epps-Hamilton (Ronald); her sisters-in-law, Cynthia (Manfred) and Marketta (Ronald); and her grandchildren, Ronald Russell, Kenny Jackson, Levi Epps, Lawrence Hart III, Julian Hart, Rachel Brown, Jeanie Ellen Hart and Victoria Eileen Harwell. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren, cousins, family, and a host of friends.
She received many business awards for Hart's Art's contribution to the community such as the Martin Luther King Arts Award and Small Business of the Year.
