He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Heaney and Minnette Heaney; his son Howard; and his siblings, Ruth, Loreda, Versea, Mike and Bessie.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Lis Mazyck, Lloyd Heaney and A. Emily Heaney (Jeff Altier); his stepdaughter Melanie Mozingo (Cecil); his grandchildren, Drew, Felix, Eric, Elizabeth, Rachel, Connor, Jamie, Lucy and Hugo; his great grandchildren, Hailee and Chev; and his siblings, Jackie, Jeri, Vida, Merritt and Kathy.
Memorials preferred to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Minnesota, or donor's choice.
