He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Lorentz; his parents, Jacob and Celestine; and his brothers, Jerome and Gerald.

He is survived by: his children, Mark (Carol) and Lori Lorentz; his granddaughter Christine Lorentz; and his brothers, Leander and William (Cheryl).
