She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Schmidt and Eileen Schmidt; and her brothers, Bill Schmidt Jr. and Tom Schmidt. She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Mary Kay, Matthew (Raquel), Mark (Michelle), Luke (Abby) and Martha (Allison); her grandchildren, Katie, William, Isaac, Lauren, Nathan, Joseph, Tori, Joshua, Peyton, John and Olivia; her brothers, Patrick Schmidt (Linda) and Greg Schmidt (Kerrie); and her sister-in-law Laura Schmidt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church (700 Mahtomedi Ave, St Paul, MN 55115). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
