She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Nicoll, Jr. and Patricia Wright Nicoll; her siblings, Harry Nicoll III, Robert Murphy Nicoll and Penny Nicoll; and her nephew Perry Hickman.

She is survived by: her children, Victoria Lee Pyan (St Paul), Alexandra Murphy Pyan (Baltimore, MD) and Murphy Douglas Pyan (St Paul); the father of her children Steve Pyan; her brother Harlow Nicoll of Tallahassee, FL; her friend Lt. Cmdr Norma Lee (Ret); and her husband Steve Pyan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Open Arms MN, Girls Scouts River Valleys or Central Presbyterian Church.
