With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Tejeda (Saint Paul, Minnesota), who passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Sanchez and Antonia Sanchez (Zapata); her daughter Sylvia Richardson; and her brothers, Nick, Steve and Ray Sanchez.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben; her children, Grace Hackenmueller (Gene), Stella Greene (Freddy) and Matt Tejeda; her grandchildren, John Richardson, Joshua Richardson (Jessica), Kevin Hackenmueller (Christy), Nicole Iano (Scooter), Aaron Greene (Molly), Brandon Greene, Mara Grisell (Ben), Jake Grisell, Angelise Ambrose, Damien Schwartz, Melissa Charpentier and Tiffany Taylor; her great grandchildren, Emiliano, Yasmin Richardson, Edith, Blaise Hackenmueller, Zara, Zoe Greene, De'Metri Thomas, Adelita, Ricky Donaldson, Ana and Lilly Charpentier; her granddaughter Bianca Taylor; and her sisters, Maryann Valtierra and Frances Sanchez.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Diocesan Shrine (401 Concord St, St Paul, MN 55107). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (401 Concord St, St Paul, MN 55107).
