He was predeceased by : his wife Arlene; his parents, Leonard Murray and Louise Murray; his brother John Murray (Geraldine); and his brother-in-law James Janssen.

He is survived by : his children, Jeffrey Leonard Murray and Patricia Ann Murray; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Joshua, Maegan, Samuel and Sarah Goers; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Mateo, Jaceon, Aubrey and Isabelle; his sisters, Louise Murray Janssen and Susan Murray McMahon (William); his brother-in-law Michael Elle (Bobbie); and his close friend Diane Glasow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, faithful friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (398 W Superior St, St Paul, MN 55102). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
