He is survived by: his wife Michelle (Barnard); his children, Beatrix (Gernot), Stephan (Lisette) and Evelyn (Michael); his grandsons, Paul, Johann and Luka; and his siblings, Siegfried and Adelheid. He is also survived by mother, siblings, and their families; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
