He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Gonzales of St. Paul, Texas; his son Juan Chapa, Jr. (Leti) of St. Paul, Texas; his granddaughter Gabriela Pilar Chapa; his siblings, Hilario Chapa (Grace) of Sinton, Texas, Jesse Chapa of St. Paul, Texas, Delia Welch (David), Diana Ruiz (Carlos) of Austin, Texas and Dalia Lopez (Robert) of Waco, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Garza, Janie Conn (Michael) of Sinton, Harvey Gonzales, Joe B. Gonzalez of Sinton, Texas and Gabriel Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas.
