James Tonneson Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Tonneson of Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on March 26, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Tonneson (Thorenson) and Otto Tonneson; his wife Carolyn Heuer Tonneson; and his brother Jon. He is survived by: his children, Mark (Tami), Scott (Jennifer Thorson) and Kimi; his grandsons, Owen and Noah Tonneson; his siblings, Joanne Helland (Keith), Jeannine Bruesewitz and Jerry Tonneson (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Joanie Tonneson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, students, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (700 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
