He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Goebel and Edith Goebel; and his brothers, Edwin and Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Anne Poncelet; his son Robert Goebel (Judy); his grandsons, Ben, Will and Jack; his daughter Theresa Ophus (Wade); his grandsons, James, Cody and Wyatt; his siblings, Paul Goebel, Marcella Haeny (Tom) and Laverne Schaefer; his sisters-in-law, Kathryn Martin, Linda House (Bob) and Deborah Pettis; his sisters, Eileen Rekowski, Barb Yanta (Paul) and Joyce Gorka (John); and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Martin and John Pettis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
