She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Weiss and Ethel Weiss; her stepfather Steve Poytinger; and her siblings, Burt Weiss, Loretta Mason and Sharon Weiss.
She is survived by: her husband Hillard Ward; her children, Michael Ward, Kathy Thompson and Cindy Schrick; and her grandchildren, Ruby, Mimi Thompson, Marcel, Andre Schrick, Jason and Sloane Ward. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
