He was predeceased by: his parents, Presiliana Quiroga and Albino Rodriguez; his wife Elvira Rodriguez; and his brother Armando Rodriguez. He is survived by: his children, Ismelda, Roberto Rodriguez, Diana Rodriguez and Valerie Charles; his grandson Giovanni Charles; his great great grandchildren, Amara, Alenah and Eva; his brother Ismael Rodriguez; and his nieces and nephews, Sergio, Jorje, Rigoberto, Ismael Jr., Hector, Arnoldo, Antonio, Albino, Norma, Diana, Armandina, Sandra, Evangelina and Irasema. He is also survived by family and friends.
