He was predeceased by: his mother Francesca Herrera; his wife Donna Hogan; his parent Crespin Sr. Herrera; and his siblings, Rita, Dede Zamarripa, Nena, Augustine and Cres Herrera.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory (Shannon), Joseph (Meg) and Antonio "Bebo" Herrera (Amber Reed); his sister Lucy Herrera; his grandchildren, Dominic, KayAnna Cheney, Evan, Zachary, Gabriella, Brandon, Samuel, Eryn, Isabel and Asher Herrera; and his great grandchild Sakari.
