He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia Knott Steinhauer; and his son Karl Philip Steinhauer. He is survived by: his son Ed (Ted); his daughter-in-law Suzanne Steinhauer; his grandsons, Henry, Frank and Joseph Steinhauer; and his sisters, Priscilla Steinhauer and Susan Steinhauer. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Disabled American Veterans and Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
