We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2024, at the age of 93, Eugene A. Hess of Saint Paul, Minnesota, born in Boonville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene W. Hess and Elizabeth W. Hess (Loesing); his former wife Carolyn Joan Hess (Johnson); and his siblings, Lloyd Hess, Mary Louise Smith and Jeanette Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Joan" Johnson; his sister Betty Ann Hugger; his children, Larry (Shabbir Shawkat), Teresa Seifert (Mike), Doug and David (Ann); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Laura Seifert, Isaac and Ethan Hess.
Alzheimer's disease robbed him of many things, but not his sweet smile and gentle demeanor.
