He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Augusta Holmberg (Anderson) and J. Ivar Holmberg; and his siblings, Alfred Holmberg, Duane Holmberg, Milton Holmberg and Marge McCauslin (Holmberg).
He is survived by: his wife Marion Holmberg; his children, Chris Sundeen (Bud) of Oak Grove, MN, Mark Holmberg (Kerry) of Woodbury, MN, John Holmberg of Algonquin, IL and Lisa Clement (Chris) of Clive, IA.; and his grandchildren, Joel Sundeen (Katie), Alyssa Nieson (Logan), Katie Holmberg, Abby Huber (Michael), Andy Holmberg, Tom Holmberg, Annie Holmberg, Amy Holmberg, Megan Clement, Ryan Clement and Quincey Keenan.
Memorials preferred to First Covenant Church of St. Paul or Minnehaha Academy as he served on the Board of both organizations.
