He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Michalec; his children, Laurie Harvieux (Tom), Donald Michalec Jr. (Deb), Brooks Michalec (Sharon), Jim Michalec (Stephanie), Mark Michalec (Lisa) and Todd Simanski (Julie); his grandchildren, Sarah (Connor), Brian, Anna, Robert, Alex and Kasandra; and his brothers, Frank and Jerry.
