He was predeceased by: his parents, Joish Davis Sr. and Hattie Milton; his son Joseph; and his brothers, Joish Davis Jr. and Albert Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Leonard Davis, Ralph Davis, Louise Davis-Myles, William Davis and Alicia Ogunyemi; his grandchildren, Natascha, Denario, Aurora, Demetria, Sarita, Veva, Marcos, Joseph and Imani; and his former wife Aurora Frelix (Giovanna Davis). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
