He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Viola; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his children, Jennifer Stafki (Jim), Rebecca Stafki (Shawn), Amy Gieser (Bill), Karen Stafki (Tony) and Brian Backstrom; and his sister Margie Thoele. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church (875 Manomin Ave, St Paul, MN 55107). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (19921 Nightingale St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011).
