He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Nystrom and Toni Nystrom. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Nystrom; his daughters, Kathleen Blumke (Tyler) and Maureen (Gino Ciccarelli); his grandson Henry David Blumke; his siblings, Connie Sedacca of California, Susie Schuldt of Minnesota, Marilou Larson (Ron) of Florida and John Nystrom (Jayne) of Minnesota; and his godmother Alice Dornseif of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in-law, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kessler Maguire Funeral Home (640 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55102). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (700 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116).
