He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Swartz and Gertrude Swartz; his son Clinton Charles Jr.; his wife Ella H. G. Unruh; his daughter Betty Tuhy; his great grandchild Jack Tuhy; and his siblings, Tracy Bruns, Ethel Lewis, Margery Fixsen, Amy Kraemer, Leota Tollefson, Janet Flickinger, Raymond, Glen, Elmer, Eugene, Billy and Ronald.
He is survived by: his son Donald Glen (Karen); his son-in-law Michael Tuhy Sr. (Denise); his grandchildren, Daniel Swartz (Kendra), Steven Swartz (Carrie), Jason Swartz (Heather), David Swartz (Janet), Kristine Borkowski (Kevin), Timothy Swartz (Cathleen), Laura Cavanna (Aaron), Matthew Swartz (Paula), Jonathan Swartz (Elizabeth), Melissa Goeser (Brian), Michael Tuhy, Jr. (Rachael), Clinton Tuhy (Ann), Joshua Tuhy (Janine) and Peter Tuhy; and his siblings, Linda Mudgett, Earl Jr., Gerald and Richard (Sally). He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
