It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Wendel of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Jean Wendel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Del; and her brother Jerry Rose. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dan Lemke (Laura), Andy Halbert (Ashley), Dusty Halbert (Caitlin), Katie Borchert (Gregg), Kirsten Bright (Danie) and Holly Bright (Ross); her great grandchildren, Erica, Hunter Lemke, Macy Halbert, Noah Bright, Sam Halbert and Marshall Borchert; her sister Sharon Valento; and her friend Mary Eileen Sorenson. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the O'Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home (575 Snelling Ave S, St Paul, MN 55116). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association of MN.
