He was predeceased by: his mother Andrea Rodriguez. He is survived by: his father Jose "Cheo" Padilla; his siblings, Claribel Negron and Jose Luis Padilla; his partner Zullie Zapata; and his stepchildren, Kenisha Diaz and Jorge Acevedo.
