It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Clarine Schmitt (Saint Paul, Minnesota), born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Delmar Schmitt; her parents, John Nelson and Martha Nelson; and her brothers, Knute (Doris) and Marvin Nelson (Colleen).
She is survived by: her sons, David (Chris), Lynn (Mary Kay), Kevin (Heidi) and Scott (Laurie); and her grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer Scherbel), Amy (Mike VanZee), Ben, Ian (Maria), Matthew (Louise), Mary Claire (Tyler Wente), Nick, Emily Schmitt, Jack, Jake, Tiffany (Jacob), Sofia, Soren, Arvid, Emmanuel, Lennox and Hudson.
Memorials may be given to the donors choice or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
