It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Martinez (Saint Paul, Minnesota), who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; her parents, Katherine Hofmeister and Hugo Hofmeister; her daughter Kathy Sawka; and her grandchildren, Ernie Sawka Jr. and Andrea Danielson.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa (Larry Danielson), Pam (Bob Steffan), John (Karen Martinez), Connie (Kurt Weishair), Cindy (Tom Bourke), Vicky Nitti and Pete Martinez; her grandchildren, Peter, Ashley, Corissa, Tanya, Greg, Justin, Amy, Maria, Michael, Nico, Amanda, Chelsea, Christopher, Salina, Dominic and Nick; her great grandchildren, David, Ashlee, Jonathan, Gianna, Hannah, Eli, Bryson, Layla, Tayden, Riker, Brayden, Brodey, Zaylee, River, Thorin, Evee and Lance; and her great great grandchildren, Bentley, Aiden, Sophia and Logan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred and will be donated to Our Lady of Peace, in honor of Barbara Martinez.
