She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Morton Melamed; her parents, Arthur Goldbarg and Rebecca Goldbarg; her son-in-law Steven Sherwyn; and her former husband Allan Cohen.
She is survived by: her daughter Audrey Cohen Sherwyn; her grandchildren, Dylan Sherwyn (Austen) and Samantha Sherwyn; her sister Marjorie Doroshow; her stepchildren, Richard Melamed (Cherri), Ilene Melamed (Joel Schatz), Harold Melamed (Barbara) and Louis Melamed (Nancy); and her stepgrandchildren, Scott, Rita, Madeleine, Eli Melamed, Rosalind and Tamara Schatz.
Memorials are preferred to Mount Zion Temple, Hadassah or the Alzheimer's Association.
