He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gilman Alm and Mary Curran Alm (May); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Davis Goodman; his stepdaughters, Havi Goodman of Baltimore, MD and Barbara Goodman (Viet Nam) of Chicago, IL; his grandchild Ravi Goodman of Chicago; and his sister Mary Margaret Alm (Darrell Scott Russell) of Asheville, NC..
