Alice (Ariola) A. Maki Obituary
Maki, Alice A. (Ariola) Age 79, passed away on March 10, 2022 after a short, but courageous fight with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rick Maki; daughter, Lynn; son, Richard; step-daughter, Jody (David) Guzzo; brothers, Jim (Barb) and Tony Ariola; sisters, Grace Moody and Louise (Jack) Kappel; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ariola, Sandra Maki, Marcy (Jim) Basco, and Andrea (John) Pecchia; very special friends, Sandy Edwards, Bonnie Swanson, and Mary Warling; and many, many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death parents, Fred and Mary Ariola; brother, Jack; sister & brother-in-law, Mae and Sook Vaught; brother-in-law, Frank Moody; nephew, Fred Moody; niece, Carol Fleetham; great-nephew, Jack Ariola; father- and mother-in-law, Ahti and Marge Maki; brother-in-law, Jerry Maki; uncle, Waino Maki; and aunt, Norma Maki.
A very special thank you to Andrea and Terry and all of her hospice care team.
Besides her love of family and friends, Alice loved the Christmas Season with all its sparkle, shine, and joyous music. She was an avid gardener who will no doubt be dancing through the sunshine and flowers.
Memorial Service at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Sandberg Funeral Home (2593 E. 7th Avenue, North Saint Paul, MN 55109) with a visitation starting at noon.
